Supported by Beijing Key Laboratory of High Voltage (HV) and Electromagnetic Compatibility, this thesis is focused on the prediction method for radio interference (RI) of substations. The achieved contributions are listed as follows:1. For the RI prediction of single HV equipment, the relationship between loop method and antenna method is presented. It is shown that the RI field caused by HV equipment can be calculated numerically by using RI voltage of HV equipment measured by loop method, and the numerical results are in good agreement with those obtained by antenna measurement method.2. The effectiveness of whip antenna and loop antenna acting as receiving antenna in RI field measurement of HV equipment is compared. It is shown that loop antenna is more suitable than whip antenna for the task.3. Based on the method of moments, calculation Model for the RI field prediction of the 500kV substation is established. Two kinds of method, measure method and random method are applied to the statistically analysis of RI filed generated by multiple HV equipments. RI field obtained from the model are in good agreement with those measured by using antenna method.
