In this paper, according to old method of superimposed component of compensation voltage, a new action criterions of distance relay based on sampled values is put forward. This method uses compensation voltage integrated one cycle sampled values as restraint threshold quantity and action quantity, and simple adaptive residual current compensation and double floating threshold are used, in order to operate the near line fault optionally and quickly, and improve the ability of anti-interference. The superimposed of comprehensive phase current is used to constitute starting element, which avoid fault starting by power system swing with high sensitively. Moreover, the paper researches full-Fourier algorithm compared the angle of fault and pre-fault compensation voltages, and adapted the operating boundary according to cosine voltage, which can enlarge the area of protected line and enhance capability against fault resistance. These two relays work together, make use of sampled values, and have ultra-high speed of operation and great capability against fault resistance. Finally, RTDS test results show that these two relays can satisfy the demands of transmission lines.
