AC asynchronous motor with the advantadges of extraordinary prosperity of simple structure and low cost, has been developed rapidly and been used widely in industry, agriculture, and so on. Usually, in order to improve system security coefficient, the motor capacity is choosed to be more larger, which tends to cause the phenomenon of "big Marathi car", moreover, because the load variation has no definite laws, it tends to result leads working efficiency reduction, power factor reduction, and electric energy waste. In this thesis, the characteristics of the motor's energy consumption are described firstly, then several kinds of solutions of motor energy-saving are introduced, the paper represents the advantages of the method of variable universe fuzzy control, analyses the selection method of scaling factor, this paper based on variable universe fuzzy control, and adopted frequency control, reactive power compensation combined with harmonic suppression as motor energy-saving control program.A overall design for motor energy-saving control device is proposed in the paper, designs the main controller which adopts digital signal processor(DSP) as control center, because load variation has no definite laws when AC asynchronous motor running, the method of variable universe fuzzy control is employed to motor energy-saving control, and then sets up a module by matlab to do the simulink, the simulation results show that the variable universe fuzzy is better than the fuzzy control. Designs votage, current and wind pressure detection module, rotating speed detection module, reactive power compensation module, and harmonic suppression module separately. The design of the system software bases on modular method, the main modules'flow charts, including the speed sampling, the electrical parameters acquisition, the wind pressure adjustment, the power factor compensation are given, then the anti-jamming measures are introduced. The test datas from worksite shows that, the AC asynchronous motor energy-saving device based on the method of fuzzy control with variable universe has good performance of adoption. Furthermore, on the base of the test results, a further discussion and analysis are taken, in order to improve the program, the improvement method is proposed too.
