The adjustment of heater water level in the daily operation of heater occupies a very important position, the adjustment of the heater depends on the terminal temperature difference, changes of the heater-side difference with the operating conditions and the terminal temperature difference of the corresponding water level difference and the relationship between these two issues have not yet resolved, which impacts the accuracy of the adjustment seriously. To dispose these two issues, this paper presents a calculation model of the heater-side difference consideration of the practical situation, makes an accurate calculation in various running operation and establish a heat transfer model when the water level changes, to provide a function of the water level and temperature difference. Finally, a heater has been optimized and which provide a new test method of the optimal adjustment of the heater.
