Anti-slide pile has been extensive used in landslide control projects, while the force mechanism of anti-slide pile and the soil arch effect between piles are still not very clearly now, the theory of anti-slide pile is far from the practice. The following research discusses the force condition and the formation mechanism of the soil arch about anti-slide pile in homogeneous sandy soil according to the centrifugal model test study of anti-slide pile of three different kinds of piles spacing in homogeneous sandy soil, the large finite element software ADINA is also used for 3D simulation analysis, the conclusions are obtained as follows:(l)According to the result analysis of anti-slide pile centrifugal model test of three different kinds of pile spacing, the curve equation of maximum bending moment of pile-variations of pile spacing is fitted, reasonable pile spacing of anti-slide pile is calculated to be 5.4 times of the pile width.(2)The soil arch effect of three different kinds of pile spacing is analyzed to fit parabolic equation of soil between piles, and reasonable pile spacing of anti-slide pile is calculated to be 5.3 times of the pile width.(3)3D finite element numerical models of anti-slide pile and landslide are established to analyze the stress state of modeling anti-slide pile and original anti-slide pile, comparing with test results, reasonable pile spacing of anti-slide pile is calculated to be 5~6 times of the pile width. In summary, for the anti-slide pile in homogeneous sandy soil, centrifugal model test and results of numerical analysis both show that reasonable pile spacing of anti-slide pile of anti-slide pile is about 5.5 times of the pile width.
