The earth-rock dam engineering hydraulic fracturing is one of the key issues that need urgent solution at home and abroad People have different view on the occurrence of hydraulic fracturing mechanism, occurrence conditions, affecting factors and determine methods of surviving. In recent years, Asphalt concrete core wall dam has made great progress, a number of asphalt concrete core dams were build at home and broad.,and the core wall dam is a growing.But for asphalt concrete core wall of the performance of hydraulic fracturing, mechanism, occurrence conditions and factors are not clear. In this paper, through its own design and manufacture of equipment, study of hydraulic fracturing of asphalt concrete at different temperatures and different water pressure. The main contents are as follows:1) In this paper, developed by the relevant equipment, select the circular specimen,.Hydraulic fracturing experiments were carried out 10℃,5℃,20℃, studies of temperature for the asphalt concrete resistance to hydraulic fracturing of the performance.2) Tensile strain under the conditions of hydraulic fracturing experiments Temperature is 5℃10℃20℃0.5MPa water pressure。Then, under the conditions of 10℃for asphalt concrete in the compressive strain in hydraulic fracturing under the conditions studied.3) By adjusting the axial pressure and water pressure to simulate the dam construction, water storage, etc. That occur during hydraulic fracturing experiments.4) Empirical formula commonly used for analysis.Major conclusions:1) With decreasing temperature asphalt concrete resistance to gradually increase the performance of hydraulic fracturing。But the temperature decreased, weakening the ability to withstand tensile strain.2) When the asphalt concrete was in compressive stress, Anti-capacity hydraulic fracturing has been markedly improved, When the axial pressure is 1.5MPa, the pressure of 3.5MPa the specimen is safe。3) We often use the discriminate earth dam of the empirical formula of hydraulic fracturing. Uif<σ1+T Is conservative, in determining the asphalt concrete。Relative to the clay core wall, asphalt concrete is not prone to hydraulic fracturing.4) The occurrence of hydraulic fracturing conditions include at least the material conditions and terms of two aspects of the force. Material conditions is core-wall cracks。Mechanical condition is a high water pressure。...
