University is a part of the community; its development has been constrained by our times. With its own characteristics and unique cultural features, university serves as the window of our social civilization; it influences the ideological behavior quietly. Good campus environment can shape students sentiment, enrich student's social knowledge, regulate student behavior, and then promote students mental and physical health, stimulate students to be elitist effectively. Foster the good ecological relationships between the environment and students so as to take advantage of education by environment functions.This paper analyzes the university campus in the background under the influence of the domestic and international school campus, school mission and student thinking and behavior, and discusses the ecological requirements of the times. Ecologism has become the mainstream tendency of human thought. Ecological theory in the field of environmental design influence deepening, people began to concern for the environment from the ecological point of view all aspects of design theory, such as plant configuration, green space system planning, landscape planning and design, use and protection of native plants, ecological systems on campus Construction and etc.Reviewed the Research Findings:Ecological school should have four main functions:campus environmental quality and ecological effects, proper proportion of cultivated area of green plants, planting design and maintenance of the level of artistic formation cultivated a sound ecological system; reasonable functional layout, to provide students with a comfortable learning, living, entertainment venues; cultivate students spiritual sentiment through good environment, that is "create an environment that nurtured people"; through the interaction of people and the environment, cultivate a school campus features with historical context, constitutes a kind of harmony ecosystems.Though the Analysis on China's universities, the author believe that there are some disadvantages in university ecology construction, such as lack of systematic, lack of flexibility and orderly growth.
