| With the rapid development of urbanization, nowadays, the river ecology has been impacted from the city and men for a long time. It came with the declined groundwater, the reduced city water, the water pollution and other serious consequences. The city and eco-development is severely restricted, human and the nature's lives are threatened. The present situation attracts more and more attention from the researchers and urban workers to the eco-development waterfront area of city. This paper was started with this background. The author learnt lessons with the doctrine of study and construction of analysis and summary to the urban. She established a comprehensive theory frame and preliminary analysis systems. This paper is conducting such research environment and integrating the field of ecology, planning and design studies to draw on the urban waterfront regional ecological environment, the feasibility of the proposed optimization. Thesis came from the theory of information integration, case analysis and transformation of one case. For specific cases, the work aimed at integrating environmental analysis, planning and design of the relevant research related and give the city and waterfront area of the eco-environment some workable proposal. The paper selected Liangma River in beijing for the cases, gathered the theory and practical experience and specific comments together, introduced the concept of "cell", provided the ecological areas further feasibility. The paper finally reached the following aim:(1) summarizes recent years in both urban areas of ecological Liangma River landscape reformation project in the implementation of the experience and lessons; (2) summed up in Beijing in neoteric and modern period city water system. Especially selected processes of the Zhuan River, Kunyu River and Tongzi River and made more detailed analysis on them; (3) Through the ma the situation overall analysis on the Liangma River waterfront landscape the paper gave some further improvement advises.
