The paper use CFD software to simulate the engine cabin heat transfer, which cabin is designed by the JASMIN INTERNATIONL AUTO R&D (BEIJING) CO.,LTD, and make use of the simulate result to check up the cabin model whether satisfy the heat transfer require. Only using the test ways to solve problem of engine cabin heat transfer is very difficult and cost a lot. We can get many informations of the flow field in vehicle underhood by using simulation and experiment. If we make use of these informations to analysis the problem of vehicle underhood cooling, we can get the answer quickly, exactly and low-cost.The engine cabin geometry model is built in CAD invironment. Before using CFD simulation software to simulate the engine cabin flow field, sometimes we may simplify the cabin geometry model in the front of built cabin fern model, while we should ensure the central character of the cabin. And the model consists of engine, radiator, condenser, fan, ect. Make use of FLUENT software to simulate the heat transfer. And compared simulate result with test result, which ensured the reliability of this method,and provided a basis for the following research. Studying the result of simulation, we know that the design of the engine cabin is satisfied with the engine working in the worst environment.
