As a new kind of structure, the deployable structure is more and more widely used in the fields of astronautics and military engineering, etc. It can be divided into deployable space structures and deployable ground structures. Based on some projects, dynamic theory analysis, simulation, deployment control and experiments had been studied systematically for the deployment process of deployable space structures in this dissertation. In order to get the velocity and acceleration of the antenna nodes, the deployment process must be measured. The non-contact computer vision measurement method was studied and applied in the measurement of the deployment process of a circular truss antenna and a tetrahedral truss antenna. The deployment process of the tetrahedral truss antenna was analyzed. In order to reduce the velocity and acceleration of the antenna nodes, also the impact force on the satellite antenna, a method of exerting an active force to control the deployment process was given. An antenna model with 2 m caliber was fabricated. Based on the model, the control method was tested. Using the non-contact computer vision measurement system and the MATLAB program, the velocity and acceleration of the antenna nodes during the test was got. The test results show that the velocity and acceleration of the antenna nodes, also the impact force on the satellite are reduced efficiently after the control method was taken. The feasibility of the control method is proved. The dynamic cable tension measuring instrument designed by Guan Fu-ling's department meter was calibrated. The measurement error was given and analyzed. Based on the problems existing in the actual measurement, the improvement method was forwarded. The deployment process of the twelve-side circular truss antenna was analyzed and the velocity and acceleration of the nodes was got. Based on the analysis results, the control method was given and tested. During the experiment, using non-contact computer vision measurement system was used to avoid the affect of the installation of sensors on the antenna.
