The continuous rigid frame bridge has a good performance in withstanding force, with long-span capability, it's able to give full play to the effect of high-strength materials. The cantilever construction method applies to such bridges. In China, such bridges employ with a broad range. So, in order to offering useful references to design and construction, it's necessary to make a summary of construction control. The damage of bridge cuts off the traffic lifeline in earthquake, which leads to huge economic losses and casualties. As to the rule about seismic analysis of continuous rigid frame bridge, it appears indistinctly in old specification. In 2008 China promulgated (JTG/TB02-01-2008) which specification increases the rules relevanting seismic ductility design. In this paper, the method ordered in new specification is used to make seismic response analysis for bridges, with a view to provide the theoretical basis and practical experience for seismic analysis in future.Several main parts are included in this paper:1. With practical examples, based on finite element principles, establishing reasonable calculation model of bridge by Dr.Bridge. And guide construction by the result to make it safety.2. Through the Elastic-plastic time history analysis of JINGTIANBA bridge, considering the influence of the pile-soil interaction, make seismic ductility design for this bridge. The conclusion can't just be used as the basis for seismic design of this bridge, but also be a reference for project in future.3. Indicate problems belong to Large-span continuous rigid frame bridge's seismic analysis.
