Spray polyurea coating is a new technology with a rapid development in recent years. Because of the excellent physical properties, it has been applied to many engineering projects. As China's water conservancy development, we built a large number of water conservancy facilities. Nowadays, more and more problems of aging to water infrastructure, which threat the safety and durability of hydraulic engineering. Thus, the preparation of new protective coating materials and the investigation of high performance coating techniques are significant since coating protection becomes the primarily available method for the protection of hydraulic engineering. In the present study, new aliphatic polyurea-polyaspartic ester(PAE) based ployureas were studied for the first time as water conservancy facilities protective coatings. And thereafter,FTIR, NMR, DSC, DTA, TG and SEM methods were employed to analysis their structure,morphology. Then we tested the performance of coating materials and concrete which has been brushed coating materials. We used the anti-aging coating meterials for the slope protection in practical application. The main content is as follows:According to the water conservancy requirements for the coating materials, we selected the raw material-polyaspartic ester and the HDI trimer, IR and NMR methods were employed to analysis the structure of the raw materials. A series of different ratios, different properties of polyaspartic ester polyurea were synthesised. and Some structures were characterized by FTIR, NMR, DSC, DTA, TG, SEM. We try to find the relationship of polyaspartic ester polyurea between structure and properties.We tested a series of polyaspartic ester polyurea performance, such as tensile strength, elongation at break, hardness. And then we tested its bond behavior between concrete. Finally , we selected the coating material which is a suitable ratio, and then brushed the coating material to the concrete, tested its frost, carbonation resistance, impermeability, and anti-abrasion.According to the demand of the slope protection plastic bags, we prepared for the polyaspartic ester coating material for anti-aging. The new antiaging coating which is used for the slope protection plastic bags, we has passed the tests, such as the UV aging test, salt spray test, acid resistance test and site testing. The results indicate that the new antiaging coating could substantially improve the durability of the slope protection plastic bags and enhance its strength and flexibitity, which can better resist the erosion of silt carrying flow without easily being broken.
