The wind turbine is a complicated nonlinear uncertain system. It operates in execrable environment, in which wind is transient and variable. So the modeling and analysis of wind turbine system is crucial to the system optimum design. Through researching the operating characteristics of wind turbines and analyzing the control strategy under different conditions, supervisory control models and a full system dynamics model, including the rotor, power train system and electrical control of the generator are presented. The transformation among operational state of wind turbine is simulated, which included star process, stop process, parked state, idling state, and etc. Important functions of wind power generation have been implemented including cutting-in control, Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) at low-speed wind and power control/variable pitch control at the rated wind speed. In the last chapter I refer to the project realization of the VSCF wind power generation training system based on Matlab/LabVIEW.
