The authors consider that the efficacious data exchange processing of interface is the key problem in hybrid simulation. Also, this problem is a leading subject of the hybrid real-time simulation in recent years. This dissertation's work focuses on establishing interface's models and algorithms of hybrid real-time simulation of electromagnetic-electromechanical transients, and verifying their validity. The main contents include:1) this paper has proposed an interface approach based on Real-Time Digital Simulation (RTDS) by analyzing the characteristics and algorithms of electromechanical transient and electromagnetic transient simulation models; 2) the equivalent circuits of interface has been designed, as the same time, an interfaces algorithm based on the improved dq-120 transformation is emphatically presented,3) the universal interface modules and the data exchange protocol have been developed and established under the RTDS/CBuilder circumstance, and the validity and efficiency of the interface are demonstrated by the hybrid simulation cases.
