Turbine bolt is a major thermal power plant steam components, directly affects the Steam Turbine safety and economy. In recent years, early breakage of turbine bolt frequently eventuated. Bolt is given creep damage and low cycle thermal fatigue damage during operation, this paper describes the creep and fatigue damage mechanisms, describes currently common used fatigue-creep life prediction method in detail. Taking a Power Plant Unit 1 medium-pressure cylinder bolt as the research object, using finite element software ANSYS simulate thermal stress field and preload of cold start, warm start, thermal state and sliding parameters stop process, and then based on simulation results, materials, mechanical properties and fatigue life curves, use the life scores of France for their loss of fatigue and creep life calculations and research. Finally, on the basis of integrated stress calculation, preload and life calculation, using development tools visual preparation tools Delphi 6.0 has developed the turbine bolt life calculation software.
