Design And Implementation Of Editing System Of The Yangtze River ECDIS Presentation Library

It's an important task to complete the Yangtze River ECDIS presentation library in working out standard for the Yangtze River electronic channel chart. The Yangtze River ECDIS presentation library which is based on IHO ECDIS presentation library and consults Rhine ECDIS presentation library adds special symbols of the Yangtze River. Previous studies mainly focus on analysis of IHO ECDIS presentation library's contents and representation methods, and the addition of special symbols of the Yangtze River is primarily by hand under the circumstance of text editing. However, due to the typical characteristics of the presentation library, such as complicated contents, complex representation methods and poor readability, the workload is heavy and it's easy to make mistakes which are difficult to check up. So it's a necessary and meaningful job to develop the Yangtze River ECDIS presentation library editing system. This paper designs and completes the graphic interactive editing system of the Yangtze River ECDIS presentation library, which is based on VC++6.0 platform. The system possesses many functions, which include adding, looking up and deleting of symbols and the look-up table entries, implements efficient, accurate and intact extension of special symbols of the Yangtze River, and finishes the work of completing integrate the Yangtze River ECDIS presentation library.The main work of this paper includes:(1) Develop the Yangtze River ECDIS presentation library editing system in order to complete the special symbols extension of the Yangtze River. The system is divided into two modules, symbol drawn module and symbol library and the look-up table management module. This paper describes the structures, functions of the two modules and file structure of the presentation library in detail.(2) Referring to the system, this paper puts forward a new data linked list structure, achieving storage and invocation of data stream and providing transforming method from data stream to the presentation library vector data format. (3) Complete the editing system based on VC++6.0 development platform to achieve functions, inclusive of c adding, looking up and deleting of symbols and the look-up table entries.
