The stability of high rock slope in abandoned mining area is studied in this thesis. With the slope in Qianling mountain Scenic in Fengtai District in Beijing, conditions of land form, hydrological geology, stratum layer, regional geological structure, engineering geology condition, water geological condition and earthquake are analyzed based on the old achievement. The basic parameters and cross sections are determined. The stability factors in natural situation and storm situation are calculated. The research achievements are as following.Based on the in-depth analysis of Qianling mountain slope may exist the distortion destruction type and the regional stratum layer and lithology, geological structure, rock mass structure, slope geometry and surface topography, weathering, water effects, the vibration function, human activities and other factors affecting the stability of the slope. The arguments that the slope mainly failed along the free surface rock collapses and the weak bedding plane slide. And under rainstorm situation, due to infiltration of rain water will adversely affect the slope. Ultimately, the displacement under the deformation, stress and strain, and stability safety factor of three typical cross sections in Qianling mountain slope are deeply analyzed with Sarma method and FLAC2D numerical simulation method in natural situation and storm situation. The broken reasons are studied from aspects of collapsing mechanics and influence factors. The stability of Qianling mountain slope is objectively analyzed in this thesis. The research of this thesis can be a reference of other similar slopes.
