Abstract/Summary:
Construction fire has always been one of the focuses of attention. The water fire-extinguishing system is one of the most effective and common method for controlling fire. Different fire must be use different system, that is to say, there is some relationship between the fire and the water fire- extinguishing system which called adaptive. It is very important to assessment water fire-extinguish system with scientific way which could make fire and system most adaptive. The article investigated the problems of fire assessment methods deeply and comprehensively. Based on these aspects, the author proposed a method used for evaluating water fire-extinguish system of construction which combined with fire risk analysis.First the article analyzed fire influencing factors comprehensively and referenced domestic, international data and rules. With fuzzy comprehensive method the author analysis on fire risk of construction comprehensively and classified the fire risk. Next, in the view of fire-fighting theory, use AHP to analyze proportion of extinguishing mechanism in different combustible materials and system. Then the water amount and spreading time for controlling or extinguishing some fire can be calculate. Put these values together to compare and could get the conclutions about system performance. Then use FMEA to analyze failure mode and the effects of water fire-extinguishing system, integrated the results of above to complete the assessment of water fire- extinguishing system for construction.Finally, with a room for example, use the method which proposed in the article to assessment the water fire-extinguishing system, then makes use of FDS fire simulation software to validate the results, the conclusions of simulation is in accordance with the calculation results.
