With the development of national economy, the transport volume increased substantially, bridge load-increasing part of the original bridge aging,damaged, can no longer meet the requirements of modern transport; There is an urgent need to be technological transformation. To strengthen the existing bridge will conduct surveys and analysis of the damaged reasons, and to take corresponding measures on the existing reinforcement of the old bridge to enable them meeting the new era of highway transportation needs will become better ways to build the bridges reinforced or modified technology we can bring enormous economic and social benefits.Base on the related theoretic, the research for the strengthening reinforced concrete beam which through finite element method to simulate by bolting and affixing steel plate. This strength technique avoids desquamation of bonded steel plate effectively and has a very good strengthening effectiveness.And primary content of my thesis as follows:Firstly, Base on the interaction between bolting and affixing steel plates and reinforced concrete beam, the slip effect of bolting bottom face plate of RC beam is derived under elastic condition and its influence on strength of RC beam is obtained.Secondly, Because of the performance of anchor being the critical factor to the strengthening effectiveness, the bearing load mechanics and calculation method of anchor are discussed attentively and generalized comprehensively.Thirdly, the nonlinear finite element model of strengthening RC beam structure by bolting and affixing are analyzed by Ansys. Based on the results of finite element analysis, and the essay discussed the bearing capacity, the development of cracks and the flexibility of beam by bolting and affixing steel plates through contrasting simulation of static load between strengthened beam and non-strengthened beam. And to sum up, it can help me achieving the commonly preferences of strengthening RC beam by bolting and affixing.Finally, on the base of RC design method and FEM analysis, the design formula of flexural strengthening RC beams by and affixing steel plate is given in this paper.
