NVH Performance Investigation For CFMA B Car Interior Trim Parts

The acoustics performance of Changan Ford B-segment headliner, carpet and package tray, which are based on current process and local material, are investigated in this paper. It is testified that PU layer quality of the headliner, insulator felt back of the headliner added and glass fiber mass contribute a lot to the headliner absorption performance. However the manufacture process of the headliner has little influence on the absorption performance of headliner. The cover material of floor carpet, the substrate mass, the front heavy layer as well as the assembly process affect greatly on the carpet absorption performance. The absorption performance of package tray luggage compartment side depends on the diameter of fiber and manufacture process of package tray affects greatly on the package tray passenger compartment side. In general, the absorption performance up to standard of headliner, carpet and package tray is achieved by selecting the row material choice, adjusting the process.
