In this paper, based on analog circuit, an inverter type air-conditione system is designed. The design mentality is to control the output frequency of inverter by way of analog control circuit, so that the motor of artificial atmosphere is controlled. Then a textile factory will operate under constant temperature and humidity.The system is composed of hardware design and application software design. The major respect of hardware design is the design of analog control circuit including the power and the differential proportional regulator. The voltage of signal acquired by temperature and humidity transmitter is sent to the analog input terminal of MicroMaster 430 after the process of differential proportional regulator to control the output frequency of inverter. The design of application software design consists of the design of monitoring software of the host computer based on VB6.0 and the communication between the Siemens inverter and PC with the USS protocol. Operaters can monitor the system parameters in forms of datas, mimic panels and curves from the main monitoring interface. Besides, operaters can set parameters and give commands to inverter. This paper also introduces the USS protocol and its application in the communication between the inverter and PC. And then, the formatting of IEEE floating point data and the process of datas got from the inverter is introduced.At last, the paper introduces the operation of the engineering including the hardware operation and software operation. After site testing, an environment under constant temperature and humidity was achieved. And the system scessfully meet the demands of the design.
