| Urban transportation supports the development of the city, its development level are closely related with people' s quality of life and economic development. With the development of society, the rapid expansion of city scale, as well as the accelerated pace of life, people set higher requirements on the rapid nature of urban transportation. However, solving the traffic problem by infrastructure construction only can not meet the needs of society, because new construction and expansion of roads subjects to space constraint in the sizable city. The intelligent transportation system is arousing more and more attention. It plays an important role in using of available resources properly and effectively. Being the basic of the intelligent transportation system, the road network modeling becomes the hot point of the research. The urban road network model became the focus of the research.This paper establishes a Knowledge Base System of road network based on the Knowledge Expression, Knowledge Library theory, Semantic Network and Topology in the Artificial Intelligence field which take use of Borland C++ Builder as the development platform. To discuss the basic feature of the road network in city roundly and detailed, the paper proposes the modeling method for the road network in city which bases on feature and generalized topology, meanwhile it provides the prohibition restraint and the expression method for describing the relationship between the organization and the road. The fundamental goal of this paper is to build the Knowledge Base System of road network which is able to describe the real road network and provide support for route planning based on this model.This paper analyses the recent status of the road network model at home and abroad. At present, road network as a spatial network is abstracted to be a graph in most of the researches. Considering the usual graph cannot meet the demand of the ample features, attributes and complexity of the road network, these models cannot describe the diverse character of urban road network considerate. Then, it discusses the idea of road network modeling method based on the feature and generalized topological and introduce the design and implementation of the knowledge base system. Finally, the paper points out the limitations and inadequacies of the system and the future priorities and direction. |
