Study On Structure Of Heavy-Load Asphalt Pavement Of Gansu Province

The asphalt pavement is the main pavement pattern of highway in our country. With the development of national economy and highway traffic, more and more large-scale vehicles are used in the carrier vehicle in our country, and the vehicles which are ultra limit, and overload are also serious, it causes the pavement to be fatigue, tutting, early harm and so on. The service life and service level of pavement is reduced. Therefore, people in our country proposed that we should refer to the overseas asphalt pavement structure, add the asphalt pavement thicker, use flexible base and so on.In view of the present situation, basing on the foundation which the predecessor studies, this paper investigate and study of Gansu province's heavy load transportation asphalt pavement performence, and analyze the damage Mechanism of the heavy load pavement, and collects the domestic and foreign heavy loads pavement structure as well as the performance. Then this paper proposes three kinds of structure type for comparison. The response of the semi-rigid base asphalt pavement conducts mechanics was study. With the research of structure stress response, this paper studys the influence rule of structure of pavement which caused by module and thickness of semi-rigid base as well as the module of road base. According to above study, the structures of asphalt pavement in Gansu province was singularity, and the one which's thickness of asphalt surface is 12cm have good performance. According to the study, this paper surgest that semi-rigid base asphalt pavement which have thicker asphalt surface should be developed in Gansu province.
