There are some difference between the model and parameter in the pavement design and compressive force, including the difference from dynamic to static and between viscous and elastic performance. Because the pavement design method will translate to the dynamic system from the static system inevitably, it is necessary to introducing dynamic parameter and performance to asphalt mixture pavement. This paper studied the dynamic modulus of asphalt mixture.First, the paper studied different test methods of different countries', including repeated load method, knocking vibration method and ultrasonic wave method. Second, the paper analyzed the definition,test method and instrument of all these test methods. At last, the paper advanced the standard test method of bitumen mixtures dynamic modulus based on repeated load method, and also give the specimen production method,load,other experiment conditions,Data Handling and so on.We do a lot of experiments with different asphalt mixture under the many different experiment conditions. Making use of the date, we analyzed the influential factors and get the relation ship between dynamic modulus and static modulus. With all of these results, we make sure that the method is scientific and sound, and give the fitting experiment conditions.In the end, based on the experiment date and index of MTS, this paper gave the details for design and manufacture of test instrument. The conclusion will be very useful for asphalt mixture dynamic modulus research in China.
