With the overload and speeding up of railway wagon, all kinds of failures of coupler and draft gear increase obviously, especially in terms of the abrasion wear and crack, which make the workload of coupler and draft gear much heavier than before. At the same time, the speeding up of vehicle and the safety of operation also puts forward more strict requirements to the repairing quality of coupler and draft gear. The coupler yoke repairing, as a part of coupler and draft gear repairing, especially shall be given enough attention. Therefore, it is imperative to adopt more rational repairing process and stream line.In the process of design, according to the procedure requirements of coupler yoke repairing device during repairing, the complete structure design was made, including the work station design of the rust removal and crack detection of coupler yoke and key, the work station design of the repair welding of coupler yoke crack, the design of the milling machine of coupler yoke flat key hole, the assembly check of a complete set of coupler yoke and so on.In the process of design, according to the principle of automatic control, we designed and chose online milling machine and programmable controller, and designed the control programs of repairing streamline and online milling machine, and analyzed and designed the coordinated problems among all work stations of repairing streamline.The coupler yoke repairing streamline, as a part of coupler and draft gear repairing, play an important role in the coupler and draft gear repairing of railway vehicle of many locomotive factories and depots, reducing the work strength, improving the production efficiency, acquiring the good results.
