With the UAV technology developing, Ducted fan UAV with investigation function is receiving increasing attention to the various military powers, This article aim at a type of UAV with military investigation ability. This article focused on the ducted fan UAV design and research.According to the mission of the ducted fan UAV, This article designed the mechanical structure of ducted fan UAV by the aerodynamic characteristics of ducted fan UAV. Designed a two-level aerodynamic control surface to control the duct fan UAV, designed the damping buffer structure of the ducted fan UAV, designed the lift ducted edge structures, and virtually assemble the structure by PRO/E software.The article establish the dynamics and kinematics equations of the ducted UAV system based on Lagrange's equation based, designed the control system by quadratic optimal theory , and verified the control system through MATLAB simulation.In additional Euler-Newton method has been used to establish the dynamics and kinematics equation of the ducted fan UAV, and provide anti-step linear control system decoupling method based on exact linearization.In this paper, analysis the stress and strain of the ducted UAV under collision conditions by ANSYS static simulation, verified the reasonableness and reliability of the structural design, simulation UAV ducted lip effect through FLUENT CFD method.This article has designed the flight control circuit of the ducted fan UAV and has pass through part of the circuit functionality debugging .
