Railway stations signal control system is the main equipment to ensure the traffic safety in the scope of the stations.Most of the existing station interlocking control systems are developed from the 6502 relay interlock control system, in the implementation layer, most of the functions are compeleted by relays, and the system contains a lot of relays, so it need a number of manpower and materials to insure its normal operation. With the development of modernization of computer, networking and communications technology, fieldbus technology has widely used in the area of industrial automation.It is an effective way to advance the development of the internal railway signal computer interlocking system technology by studying and exploiting the fieldbus.Therefore it is necessary to perfect the existing relay equipment based on the rule of fault-safety in order to achieve the function of railway signal computer-based interlocking control system.This paper is aimed to solve the problems that caused on the basis of existing computer interlocking control system through the implementation of LonWorks fieldbus and all-electronic unit to replace the relay equipment of the original computer interlocking control system, in order to achieve all-electronic computer interlocking control system. First of all, this pater briefly introduces several typical fieldbus usage at home and abroad, with an emphasis on the LonWorks fieldbus technical characteristics.Based on normative principles of LonWorks bus, all-electronic computer interlocking control system is designed by using intelligent nodes and all-electronic implementation unit as part of the implementation layer. Computer interlocking system's hardware structure is also designed based on LonWorks bus. In the system hardware configuration, system security and reliability is improved by using redundant structure. And in software, the node control procedures are developed through the use of LonWorks intelligent node technology, and this procedure designs the DDE software interface to exchange information with interlock machine.Finally, the whole research work is summarized and some further studies needed to do of a full electronic computer interlocking control system are proposed.
