In recent years,the tunnel and underground project has been becoming important in the West-China engineering construction. Because the geological condition is complex,and the seismic phenomena emerges frequently, many tunnels located at highly seismic area, the anti-seismic problem of tunnel has become one of the important problems in West-China engineering construction. In this thesis, combined with the project of aseismic and vibration absorption of tunnel in YA'LU expressway, the shallow tunnel in a highly seismic area has been numerical analyzed by using ABAQUS. The main contents of this thesis are as follows:Firstly ,the spectrum or frequency components with Le buguo tunnel seismic wave has been analyzed to ascertain the earthquake energry distibution in the time and frequency domain;due to the baseline dtift in the seismic wave ,baseline correction has been applied.Secdondly, the seismic dynamic response of tunnel are numerical modeld using different input methords of earthquake load under different excitation orientation.When inputting Equivalent load ,the dynamic response results is relatively small ,weakening the ground motion. The reasonable and accurate result can be obtained by inputting displacement time histories. On the side, the seismic dynamic response of tunnel has been done with considering the influence of excavation.Then, the dynamic response of shallow tunnel are numericl calculated under seismic. The most dangerous position of the liner has been found by analyzing the results. The seismic dynamic response of underground structures are also calculated uder different orientation of earthquake wave excitation and the coupling of two-dimendional wave, the results have been compared between two-dimensional wave and one-dimensional wave. It has some coupling effect to make the dynamic response results fluctuate.
