With the development of communication and transport, Underpass Bridge is applied widely in traffic engineering such as highway, railway, and others. Because it is built beneath the ground or other lines, it is easier to coordinate and manage the relationship between Underpass Bridge and surrounding environment. But different construction methods cause distinct impact on the surroundings. Especially when the burying depth is not deep, more subsidence may be caused by the disturbing of the stratum.This paper is based on the background of Underpass Bridge jacking constructions in Beijing Capital International Airport. Firstly, aiming at the disadvantage factors such as great length, thin earth covering, loose aquiferous ground, and strict requirement for settlement, construction technique of Underpass Bridge jacking is introduced in detail. Then the contents and methods of settlement observation are expatiated. By analyzing subsidence curve on spot, the factors that impact on displacement during Underpass Bridge jacking process are summarized, and the reason in theory is analyzed. Thirdly, the paper explains the basic theory of construction stimulation of Underpass Bridge jacking and the method of dealing with it by using ANSYS software. Finally, the settlement caused by construction is stimulated, and the factors impacting on subsidence are analyzed, and settlement controlling measures discussed through comparing with real displacement value.In summary, the construction technique of Underpass Bridge jacking needs great improvement and perfection. Under certain hypothetic condition, numerical method is employed to study the construction of Underpass Bridge jacking and some beneficial results are obtained. The methods and conclusions presented hereby can play a directive role in construction of Underpass Bridge under similar geologic conditions.
