Ballast-less track and jointless track circuit are the two key techniques in the construction of high-speed railway (passenger special line) in our country. Because of electromagnetic coupling among the steel bar networks in the ballast-less track plate and two rails, which making the rail resistance increase and the inductance reduce, the transmitting length of jointless track circuit is shortened seriously. Therefore it is meaningful to analyze the impact of ballast-less track on jointless track circuit and find out improving methods of track circuit transmitting length.Based on the structure of ballast-less track and the principle of jointless track circuit, this paper analyzes electromagnetic coupling action between rails and double-deck steel networks in ballast-less track plate, discusses on improving way of track circuit transmitting length with the theory of electricity. First of all, with the electromagnetic field theory applying to the adaptability of ballast-less track to the jointless track circuit, a mathematical modelling and simulating is made about equivalent impedance of jointless track circuit. At the same time, self inductance of double-deck steel bar network, mutual inductance between rails and the double-deck steel bar network have also been deduced. Secondly, with the theory of even transmission line, a simulation of track circuit transmitting length is set up to find out material effect of track circuit transmission characteristics with the electromagnetic coupling influence between steel bar networks in ballast-less track plate and rails. In the end, the improving scheme of track circuit transmitting length is discussed in the aspect of maintenence and electricity. Compensating capacitor of track circuit was theoretically analyzed from the view of electricity.
