The maglev technology, a new-tech emerged in 20th century, has been progressed a lot in recent years. The maglev train, a new railway vehicle without friction, is one successful and important application of maglev-tech.As for traditional EMS, the energy loss cannot be ignored, because of the resistance in normal conductor. The low temperature superconductive magnetizer is usually used in EDS. In the EDS, the suspension gap is larger than EMS. However, it can keep the stable suspention gap only when the train reached a high speed. Secondly, the intensive magnetic field without closed magnetic circuit in carriages may be strong.With the rappid development of the HTS, HTS EMS-tech has a bright prospect. HTS is widely applied in some field like superconduct cable, superconduct electromotor, superconducting magnetic energy storage. The application of HTS to EMS system is an important research. In this new type of EMS, energy loss can be much lower than the traditional normal-conductor EMS, because of zero-resistant effect.In this paper, the maglev-suspend vehicle model of the pure HTS EMS is built by ANSYS. And the basic theory of the system is discussed. According to designed parameter, the HTS EMS model magnetic analysis is done based on ANSYS, the critical current of the HTS coil is discussed. The simulation results will provide significant references to experiment. And the reason why the HTS coil might be disabled is discussed. At last, the PID control strategy is applied to control gap.The simulation based on the simlink dictates the stability of the EMS, and the challenge of the HTS EMS is presented.
