This dissertation is intended to give a study on the modeling and simulation of ballistic missile penetration measures against the detection system and interception system of the US missle defense system. This study has a comparision and analysis of these penetration measures from two aspects of anti-identification and anti-interception.First, a systematic study and simulation of the jamming efficiency of the IR smoke screen Against the SBIRS-high detector is given. The model of SBIRS-high detection and IR smoke screen jamming is built. The change of detection range using IR smoke screen jamming is analyzed. The results indicate that IR smoke restrained and weakened the detecting capability of SBIRS-high.Second, this dissertation has a study on anti-identification of IR seeker. Based on the theory of infrared seeker identification, this path to realize IR stealth and the effect of IR stealth is analyzed and simulated, the tracking distance of 77K warhead is 3.027km, the homing acceleration of EKV is 127 m /s 2 which is higher above the performance parameter. On the theory of IR decoy jamming, model of the status and movement of IR decoy is built, the identification-jamming efficiency of IR seeker with IR decoy disturbance is preferable. This dissertation also has a study of anti-radar identification measures. The model of mask jamming and deception jamming is built, the effects of chaff jamming is interpreted. The release process of radar bait is studied, the relative position to the warhead is obtained. Anti-radar measures such as warhead stealth, bait, electron jamming is applied to radar function simulation, the detection probability using single anti-radar measure is simulated, the simulation results are explained. The detecting probability of early warning radar and X-radar declines using Warhead stealth and bait. With electron jamming, the first finding time is delayed, the whole span of radar tracking time is reduced by 23.7 seconds. At last, the dissertation researches on the maneuver penetration. The optimal maneuver orientation is vertical to shooting plane. To maximize zero effort miss, the magnitude of maneuver impulse and maneuver time is analyzed, the midcourse maneuver policy is brought forward. Based on the theory of optimum control, the motion equations in pitch and yaw plane is built, the optimum navigation law in both planes is obtained, three-degree motion on the reentry phase of a near-range missle is simulated using the optimum navigation, the reentry with different pitch angles, the evasion of interception zone is realized. To conclude, this dissertation gives a systematic discussion on issues concerning penetration measures of ballistic missle. This research work provides reference to evaluation on each penetration measure and the validity of application of these measures, bears great significance in the theory development as well as engineering practice of the development and demonstration of equipment.
