| Bearingless switched reluctance motor is a new type of motor which developed on the basis of traditional switched reluctance motor(SRM). It combines the magnetic bearing into a conventional SRM. The rotor is supported by magnetic force from the motor itself, so that the rotor shaft may suspend and rotate at the time. The bearingless SRM no long as the advantages of simple structure, high speed like SRM, but also has the advantages of no abrasion, no friction like active magnetic bearing. It will be widely used in high speed motors, space flight and so on, and will bring geeat economic and societal benefits. At first, the development of mathematic model and control theories are mentioned in the paper. And then, the basic structure of bearingless SRM is introduced; basic characteristics and electromagnectic relationship are analyzed. The assumption that the gap permeance being cut part by straight lines and improved elliptical lines is used for building the model of the bearingless SRM. The correctness of the model is verified by the results of the finite-element analysis. Based on MATLAB/Simulink, the simulation model of the radial suspending and rotating is built in order to prove the feasibility of the control methods. At last, in order to improve the traditional PID control method in radial suspending, the BP neutral networks is used. The simulation result prove the correctness and validity. |
