Using the solar energy focusing photovoltaic generate electricity is the effective way of solving current questions about shortage of energy, exhaustion of resources, environmental pollution and so on. Under the condition of the same output power of the photovoltaic system, using low cost superiority of the concentrator material in place of the expensive solar cell to reduce the comprehensive cost of the photovoltaic system and realize the highly effective and the efficient unification of the focusing photovoltaic system. In view of this goal, the main content is as follows:1. Computing the CPC system obliquity of the stand-alone photovoltaic system for zero LOLP based on genetic algorithm to reduce the photovoltaic system's solar cell disposition power and the system cost. Determining the optimum installment obliquity of Hangzhou CPC system is 41.4°.2. Analyzing the existing concentrators in the solar energy photovoltaic generate electricity system in the foundation of the ordinary compound parabolic concentrator, designing and manufacturing two-stage compound parabolic concentrator, giving the design theory and the computation, establishing three-dimensional models, and carrying on the performance simulation of concentrators using the TracePro optics software. The performance characteristics and the best shape of the two-stage compound parabolic concentrator are given.3. Manufacturing the small stand-alone photovoltaic system for experiment using the two-stage compound parabolic concentrator and the solar cell.4. Constructing laboratory bench under the simulation natural condition of different season (spring,Autumnal equinox, winter solstice, summer solstice) to carry on the experiment of the focusing photovoltaic generate electricity system and to confirm the simulation conclusion.The low cost characteristic of the focusing photovoltaic system has the vital significance for the further promotion of the photovoltaic technology.
