Automobile hub-bearing is one of the most important automobile components.And its reliability and fatigue life have a directly relationship with the car's reliability and life expectancy, and play an important role in performance of vehicle security.Automobiles increasingly high demands for their security and reliability,as well as automobile hub-bearing.Therefore,the research on the reliability of automobile hub-bearings is of great significance.The reliability model of the bearing was established in the research,then the reliability of the example is evaluated,and some technical measures to improve the reliability are proposed.At last,the reliability certified test was carried out.The main work and achievements as follows:The reliability models of the hub-bearing units(bearing inner ring,outer ring,rolling body, cage,etc.) are researched.The bearing is regarded as a series system which is constituted of the hub-bearing units such as bearing inner ring,outer ring,rolling body,cage,etc.On the base,a bearing reliability model is exported.Take DAC407404040 type wheel hub-bearings which were produced by a domestic company for consideration,then their reliabilities were evaluated.The results showed that their reliabilities were bad.In order to improve reliability of bearings,firstly, the main failure mode and failure mechanism of wheel hub-bearing are analyzed.By means of establishing the bearings fault tree to find the major failure factors of the bearing,such as:design, roughcast,heat treatment,manufacturing processes and so on.Then some specific measures are proposed for the prevention of bearing early failure and improvement of reliability of the bearing. At last,the life bench test was conducted for the improved wheel hub bearing.And its reliability, B10 life and loss of efficiency indicators' comparison were compared between pre and post.The results indicate that the fatigue life and reliability of the improved hub bearing were improved significantly and satisfy the reservation requests. |
