At present, China's highway construction entered a period of rapid development, the concrete pavement construction in addition to good performance and excellent durability, but also has a loading capacity of large, high surface strength, better wear resistance and good stability, and have a low day-to-day maintenance costs l. Cement concrete pavement, however damaged, broken boards, cracks ,surface loss occurred from time to time, thus limiting its highway projects on a wide range of applications. In view of this, this article from the causes of diseases, consider the materials on the pavement strength and modulus of elasticity, combined with the force of the surface structure of the special characteristics and requirements, as well as the existing research results, mixing of steel fibers and polypropylene fibers in the concrete, through the study of mechanical property test with the different use amount of the sole fiber concrete as well as the complex fiber concrete , obtain the volume reached a certain rate to be significantly improved mechanical properties, very suitable for road material and widely promote to use it.By the cement mortar test, select two varieties from the common used in market of steel fiber and polypropylene fiber for the following mechanical properties (compressive strength, flexural tensile strength, splitting strength) and elastic modulus tests. With the same water-cement ratio , by adjusting the fiber use amount and the volume rate , compared the single fiber with composite fibers of the mechanical properties of fiber reinforced concrete difference, the difference between elastic modulus and the destruction of properties, which reflects the composite fiber reinforced concrete performance advantages, and have analyzed the mechanism of fibers .The test in this article use the same water-cement ratio , compare the concrete performance with different species and use amount of the fiber ; the experimental study have shown that the mixed effect of fiber has played a good role, the performance of composite fiber reinforced concrete to better than a single fiber reinforced concrete, steel - polypropylene fiber concrete composite fibers showed good mechanical properties and superior performance come to the best content of the composite fiber. The 1 percent volume ratio of steel-polypropylene fiber, have to surpass the other volume ratio steel-polypropylene fiber compound. The steel-polypropylene fiber concrete to display the superior mechanics and can prevent the disease of road surface , was have good economic social benefits ,was an ideal choice of road pavement. I believe this article is of great practical significance for study the way to improve the performance of concrete material.
