Recently, an advanced composite material named Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) has emerged as an alternative to traditional strengthening materials. Many advantages such as lightweight, non-corrosive, simple construction and high tensile strength make it widely used in strengthening field.According to the forcing characteristic of the RC members strengthened with externally bonded carbon fiber sheets, the ultimate strength of rectangular section RC beams strengthened with CFRP are calculated; the formulas to calculate the deflection of RC beams strengthened with CFRP is provided when the effect of secondary land are being and not being considered. Secondly, from the view of the engineering, an experimental study is carried out on normal-section flexural performance for reinforced concrete beams bonded with carbon fiber sheets. Night beams are designed in this experiment, and three of them are control beam without carbon fiber sheets, and three of them are control beam with one-layer carbon fiber sheets, and three of them are control beam with two-layer carbon fiber sheets. The experiment study is carried out on flexural strengthened effects, the whole load-deformation process, failure modes, and the effects of the CFRP usage and load-deflection curves by the experiment.The results show that the bearing capacity of the reinforced concrete beams significantly increased .In this experiment, the relationship between the effects of the CFRP usage and the load-bearing capacity of beam increased range ; the beam with one-layer carbon fiber sheets is 7.84﹪, the beam with two-layer carbon fiber sheets is 47.06﹪; the bearing capacity of the reinforced concrete beam with the increasing usage of CFRP.Damage of construction induced by corrosion of steel embedded in concrete due to carbonation is familiar and serious. But in the previous research, there was a little work on influence of inhibitors on corrosion of steel embedded in carbonated concrete. In this paper, it was mainly studies the relationship between the rusty retardant agent and the influence of carbonization.According to reinforced concrete component corrosion carbonization destruction mechanism, in the experiment carries on the reinforced concrete carbonization contrast experiment with the Sika903 anti- rust medicinal preparation. The experiment result indicated that the Sika903 anti-rust medicinal preparation has the postponement function to the test sample carbonization.Finally, reinforced the reinforced concrete according to the project example to the carbon fiber cloth to carry on the camber beam the application has spread the Sika903 anti- rust medicinal preparation to the aged concrete reinforcement, the effect is good in the project application.
