The basic DC-DC converter in practical applications has been had a wide range of applications, because its simple structure, the corresponding control circuit, and its low cost .On the one hand, with the advance of technology, especially the continuous advancement of semiconductor technology, LSI's high-speed and high-density ,a result of the drive voltage is showing a trend of low-voltage, and further speeding up the job of the low-voltage of the microprocessor .On the other hand, the Single pressure-rise converter gains a higher demand. For example, in the low power scope the pressure-rise converter requests a higher gain ratio. Such as: solar power batteries (18V-24V) and power grid operations, boost battery electric vehicles, distributed power generation systems, small and efficient UPS system and so on. Whereas the traditional DC-DC converters, the device itself because of the realities of technology could not reach the request. So tapped inductor was timely introduced to the basic DC-DC converter .Therefore, the problems which can not be put into high relief and high step-up have a good solution.Based on the analysis of the basic DC-DC converter, my paper mainly gives the basic DC-DC converter's electric circuit constitution based on the tapped inductor ,proposes DC-DC converter topological manifold based on the tapped inductor . I have carried on the simulation and experiment and have confirmed the feasibility of this plan.Finally, the BOOST invertors which built in view of the traditional used double BOOST converter have carried on the analysis. Because the traditional inverter does not realize the high step-up ratio in the practical application, this article proposed novel high step-up BOOST invertors based on tapped inductor , has carried on the detailed theoretical analysis, and used Matlab to carry on the simulation the BOOST inverter based on the tapped inductor to confirm its validity.
