Research On Form Characteristics And Conserved Countermeasures Of Historical Conserved Area Of Changchun City

Changchun has a unique position in the history of modern cities'development in China because of its process of development and changes. Although it has not been recognized as a historic city because of some reasons, there are still a lot of heritages of modern buildings in the old districts of the city. These precious buildings are obviously different from the same kind of buildings in China and have their unique historical, cultural and artistic values. They record the history and culture development of Changchun. As the increasing urbanization of Changchun, the conservation of these splendid modern buildings and their historical surroundings contradicts the city's development more obviously. We should make research on the conservation of these buildings according to the present situation in order to build it into a northern city with its own characteristics. This thesis makes research on the conservation of the architectural heritages of Changchun according to the present conservation situation of these modern buildings in order to build Changchun into a northern city with its own characteristics and better conserve the city with unique modern buildings.This thesis focuses on conservational city design and city renewal and makes a comprehensive and systematical study of the conservation and development of the historical conservation areas by using the knowledge of architecture and the conservation of historical buildings. This thesis systematically makes the conservation lines according to conservation blocks, conservation areas and historical buildings and redefines the former two as Changchun historical conservation area for further study. All these are on the basis of the present conservation situation of Changchun and under the direction of the specific theories.The historical conservation areas can be divided into five specific types on the basis of comprehensive analysis of the reality and characteristics of their own. They are block-based ones, square-based ones, yard-based ones, group-based ones and other ones. The five types are the important foundations for the conservation policy for these historical conservation areas. Different conservational ways can be made according to different types and thus guarantee the conservation policy more directive.This thesis puts forward a conservational logo which agrees with the scientific outlook on development and draws up several conservational measures which are in accord with the real situations from the perspective of finding out the existing values, building peculiar places, recording regular changes and popularizing relevant knowledge, ect. It also sets up a data base on conservation and rehabilitation by analyzing the specific examples in different kinds of conservation areas in order to reify the conservational measures and make them to be more maneuverable in practical situation, thus will help the modern architectural heritages play their roles in the development of Changchun city.
