With the development of technology, engineering structures are developing in the trend of bigger and more complicated. The new type of structure is appearing gradually. Some important element once destroyed, the damage would increase quickly. If it can not be detected in time, the whole structure may be destroyed. What's more, if we can discover the damage and repair it in time, a large amount of money would be saved. Therefore, the issue of health examining of the structure becomes very instancy. The genuine problem of the health examining system is the structure damage identify. The damage identify method based on the structure vibrancy analysis is the hotspot of the world analysis. The foreign researchers have done quite a lot of work and got tremendous analyze result on this field. This thesis will use a new structure damage identify analyze method which based on the character POD structure damage identify to analyze and research.In this paper, I have a conclusion and introduction of the corresponding theory of the POD; also have a introduction to the knowledge of finite element and the establishing of the model in this paper. The ANSYS was being used to establish the simple support beam model and have a mechanics analyze of twinkle dynamics in the condition of no damage and damage to get the corresponding matrix. In this paper, I also have a brief introduction to the software named MATLAB and use it to POD the displacement matrix to get the POM. Through getting the delta POM curve under the condition of damage and no damage to identify the damage of the structure. What's more, I also have a noise processing of the original displacement matrix and simulate the displacement matrix under the noise condition to analyze the damage identify effect of this method under the noise condition. The result shows: the structure damage identify method which is based on the Proper Orthogonal Decomposition under the no noise condition can orientation the single damage and muti-damage of the structure precisely and identify the damage level. Under the noise condition, the strong noise have a apparently affect to the damage identify, but under a low level noise condition this method have a good effect and the noise do not have a strong affect to the identify result.
