Electro-rheological fluids are smart materials, and the dampers of vibration isolation based on electro-rheological fluids can increase the effects of isolation. Test-bed isolation and control system is to achieve control method and system testing ER isolation of key equipment. This paper studies focus on the semi-active control of vibration isolation research, simulation program and the preparation of the simulation results isolation.First, use double-layer vibration isolation system as a model to analysis passive vibration isolation technology. Respectively, the simulation input power for a single sinusoidal signal, multi-frequency sinusoidal signal, pulse signal, as well as the impact of random signals in case of vibration isolation system's effect. By comparing the simulation results, we concluded that there are limitations of passive vibration isolation; especially the input signal has complex frequencies components. The effect of vibration isolation is not good; we need to find a better effect of vibration isolation.Second, the optimal damping curve was solved on the basis of calculus of variations. Set out the optimal damping curve of the equation use of calculus of variations principle. Make use of functional derivative for solving functional decline direction. Use the gradient descent method to solve the functional extreme, so as to solve the numerical solution of the optimal damping curve.Third, prepare the simulation program to simulate the effects of optimal damping vibration isolation. The simulation results were as follows: optimal damping vibration isolation in the single-frequency signal input, low-frequency band close to the largest passive vibration damping vibration isolation effect of high-frequency band close to the smallest passive vibration damping vibration isolation effect. Optimal damping vibration isolation is much better than passive vibration isolation while the input force is pulse or random signal.
