As China's development of pipeline industry and construction of electrified railways and high-voltage transmission system in large quantity, stray current corrosion of pipelines is more and more serious, its protection is being attracted attention increasingly. According to the status quo, This paper studies pipeline stray current intelligent drainage devices in order to minimize stray current corrosion of pipelines, thus prolonging the service life of pipelines.This paper reviews the reason of alternative stray current brought about, as well as the harmful effects on the pipelines and the current protective measures; puts forward the problems existing in alternative stray current protection; and highlights the basic principles of drainage devices and the relative knowledge about SCM MSP430F149 which is the core hardware of drainage devices. This paper elaborates on the circuit design in various parts of the device, including voltage acquisition circuit, control circuit, the keyboard and display circuit, RS232 communication circuit, reset circuit and power supply circuit and PCB board's design and production, the main procedures of drainage device are introduced at last. In this paper, the auto designs a set of intelligent drainage devices, and makes in-house laboratory tests; experiments prove that the device has better protection from alternative stray current interference in pipelines.
