In this paper, the meshing equation and the profile equation for various types of motion law of the Roller-gear Indexing Cam Mechanism is deduced with the theory of conjugate principle and the method of rotary coordinate transformation. Also its meshing characteristic is deep researched and analyzed .This paper focused on the 3D design, kinematics simulation and analysis, NC machining simulation and dynamic test of the Roller Gear Indexing Cam Mechanism.Firstly, the three-dimensional solid model is established with Pro/e through the equation has deduced. And interference check is done in assembled mode to find the flaw and other problem in design.Secondly, Kinematics Simulation and Analysis of the Roller-gear Indexing Cam Mechanism is done with Pro/e Mechanism. Its movement in every position and every angle can be observed. So the movement characteristics of the Mechanism can be studied easily and the interference in motion can be found. It is easy to identify problems and redesign it in time.Thirdly, Process theories and methods of the Roller-gear Indexing Cam is studied. And machining Simulation of the Roller-gear Indexing Cam is done with Pro/e NC to generate machining code which can be used in CNC Machining.Finally, the dynamic characteristic of the Roller Gear Indexing Cam Mechanism is studied on the dynamic measure and control bed which is independent researched.Overall, the integration theory of the Roller Gear Indexing Cam Mechanism on 3d design, CNC machining and dynamic test is realized in this paper, and a new method for the meehanism's deep researeh and extensive use.
