The article describes common types of seismic_damage on the structure of a bridge. The article summarized the main results of anti-seismic research on the domestic high-pier bridge. And it summed up the anti-seismic research status on the high-pier bridge. Bridge ant-seismic analysis outlined the basic theory and commonly used in design and calculation methods and their development process. The article focuses on the current use of the most common response spectrum method.This text is in the background for the engineering of the Mahe bridge on Wuguan road. It sets up a space bar finite element model for the Mahe bridge. Attach to the application of large-scale general-purpose structural analysis software ANSYS , the text calculated Mahe bridge modal and vibration mode. Then , the text analyzed the vibration characteristics of this bridge , followed the rule of《Code for ant-Seismic Design of Highway Engineering》published in 1989 and《Highway Bridge ant-Seismic Design Rules》published in 2008. Using response spectrum method separately along the cross-bridge and the axial direction bridge to input response spectrum, the text calculated the seismic response along the cross-bridge and the axial direction bridge. By calculating the results of contrast, the text compared the difference between large and small. seismic calculated effects which based on these two norms relevant provisions of the earthquake Finally, this text also uses time-history analysis method and inputs a actual seismic wave and a practical artificial seismic wave along the cross-bridge and the axial direction bridge. This paper compared the results between the Mahe' bridge seismic response and response spectrum method Through the analysis of the bridge seismic response, not only found a weak seismic bridge site, but also found a high-pier bridge some of the characteristics of seismic response.
