Weathered granite material is expected to be in the atmosphere as well as the business activities of the biological factors, long-term impacted of broken rocks or changed in the composition, gradually collapse of the separation of the formation of debris or soil. With the rapid development of China's road transport, highways would inevitably have to cross the weathered granite material distribution. After weathering granite, its mineral composition, structure and state of physical and mechanical properties have changed, the impact of highway construction have become increasingly prominent, it is great practical significance to start research on the physical and mechanical properties of the weathered granite material.In this paper, based on the Zheng-Shi highway project in Henan Province, combined with the characteristics of weathered granite material along the road, for the application of granite weathering material in road sub-base, adopted cement, lime, fly ash as the stability of the materials, according to the different programs of mixture ratio. Though the standard hit-solid experiment, unconfined compressive strength test, splitting strength test, the resistance rebound Modulus test, test shrinkage, reduction of temperature testing, freeze-thaw test, fatigue test, weathered granite is expected to be stable mechanical properties and durability of the parameters, and analysis on its evaluation of pavement performance. After analysis, weathered granite material containing 5% cement, lime-fly-ash-stabilized weathered granite material of which mixture ratio is 8:12:80 and aggregate stabilized with cement of which mixture ratio is 2:4:16:78, lime and fly-ash stability weathered granite material have better road performance. They can be used in freeway pavement sub-base. While by comparing the draw: the road performance of cement stabilized weathered granite material is better than bother lime-fly-ash-stabilized weathered granite material and aggregate stabilized with cement, lime and fly-ash stability weathered granite material. And the conclusion is that from the highway road sub-base strength and stiffness requirements, or from the durability requirements, for cement stability in the weathered granite is expected to replace cement stability of the highway as a gravel sub-base material an ideal material.Through economic analysis of the construction of road sub-base of the Zheng-Shi highway, it cost 126,000 per kilometer to adopt cement stability in the weathered granite material, and 103,000 Yuan to adopt lime-fly-ash-stabilized weathered granite material, and 111,000 Yuan aggregate stabilized weathered granite material. All of them cost less than adopting cement stabilized gravel that costs 222,000 Yuan per kilometer; at the same time, considering of the actual local conditions of the Zheng-Shi highway: lime and fly-ash are not enriched. Comparing with cement stability in the weathered granite material, they require more construction machinery and equipment and need more Construction Machinery One-Shift Costs. thus cement stability in the weathered granite material is economy in place of cement stability in the rubble weathered granite stone to cement stability in constructing road sub-base, it can save a lot of project cost.
