| At present, China is in a phase of rapid urbanization, cities expand into suburbs gradually, and the villages transform into the small and medium-sized towns and cities.On one hand, the congregation of people's production and living activities in space makes the scale of cities larger and larger, and also causes a range of issues such as the natural environmental pollution, ecological damage, traffic jams, housing environmental degradation. On the other hand, with the continuous improvement of living standards, and the pace of life accelerated, there is growing demand for spiritual life, people eager to green and safe places for recreation.Now, there are already many urban constructors awared of the importance of the environment. And in many countries, the construction of greenways has became a popular way to provide open spaces. First of all, this paper confirms the conception of recreational greenway after expound the related concept. Afterwards, this paper discusses the domestic and foreign researches and the practical cases in recreational greenways. And then make a summary to the overseas advanced experiences ,which related with present development of recreational greenways of our country.On the base of all the study and discussion, this paper comes to the Chiangnan area,and takes Huaqiao International Business Park as an example,then analyzes the misunderstandings, the questiones and the trends of development in the construction of Chiangnan new town.In the view of recreational greenway's characters, the paper proposed that recreational greenway is a sustainable developing way for Chiangnan new town.At the end, it anylases the unique climate , geographic appearances and local costoms,and introduces the practice of bringing recreational greenway to new HuaQiao city construction. In the last, this paper gives its whole recreational greenway planning for the district, according to its regional environment of Riverside Town in South China. |
