| Rational layout for Pipe Network in Sprinkler System plays a very important role in the building, in our country, ramiform arrangements is always used for sprinkler system ,because its reliability and economy is low, research on the optimization for pipe network in sprinkler system could improve its reliability and economy.This paper gives the comparative analysis about reliability and economy of sprinkler system between ramiform network of pipes and ringed network of pipes. Main research is as follows:A brief introduction of sprinkler system and a detailed comparison about the various forms of the system pipes are illustrated in this paper. In the reliability comparison, the defect of ramiform network of pipes and advantages of ringed network of pipes are analyzed. A fact shows that ringed network of pipes is more reliable than ramiform network of pipes. Take a project as an example, the simulation with ramiform network of pipes and ringed network of pipes are carried out by Flowmaster software. Through the analysis of the speed and pressure, gives the economic comparison.Conclusions are as follows: Compared with ramiform net work of pipes and ringed network of pipes, the second is more reliable, so ringed network of pipes should be used in the design .Under the same conditions of the outlet pressure and flow quality, the velocity ratio of ringed network of pipes is smaller than ramiform network of pipes,The result is that it causes less loss in ringed network of pipes.The entrance pressure of ringed network of pipes is smaller than that of ramiform network of pipes, not only smaller diameter pipes but also the pump head with lower pump lift could be used in the design, and thus saving the cost of the project. |
