| Frank Lloyd Wright was one of the most important architects in the US in the 20th centry, his idea of organic architecture was an important impact to the world modern architecture. In the modern architectural world, the"nature","organic","harmony between nature and human", etc, which are from the Wright's theory, had been increasingly recognized and valued around the world, and had becoming the leading idea of the development of the contemporary architecture. In this thesis, there are three grand parts, Wright's architectural ideology and works are deeply analyzed and summarized in the first part, the analysis starts from Wright's control of the relationship of architecture and nature,the integrity of architecture, the style and function of architecture and architectural materials, so that to find the essence of Wright's architectural idea. In the second part, the current status of Chinese architectural market is analyzed, find out the problems and deficiencies of the contemporary Chinese architecture and urban development.
