The paper combines the scientific research program "research on very fast transient overvoltage system in GIS", the emphases of this paper is to study the methold that how to measure VFTO and demarcate problem that measured system using electric field. First,capacitance divider methold and infinitesimal calculus method are simulated in ATP in this paper,and infinitesimal calculus method is improved;second,the shrink model is built in lab according to the size of GIS bushing,and we have done a lot of experiments to transform characteristic of electric sphere probe,and found the relation between transformation ratio of industrial frequency and transformation ratio of impulsion,by doing so, we can calibrate the impulsion using deindustrial frequency;third,increment wiener filter and least square method are adopt to revert the signal wave;the last,to validate the feasibility of the measured system,optical fiber transmission system is adopt,and we measure the system in 750kV transformer substation of YinChuan.
