Due to their polished shapes and capacities of providing huge space without inner columns, long span roofs structure have been greatly constructed recently as large-sized public buildings such as airport terminal buildings and gymnasiums. When long span roofs tend to more flexible and light, the wind loads, among all kinds of loads, become dominating. The public buildings are in the vicinity of tall buildings, so wind loads distribution of the roofs changes inevitably. At present interference effect researches of wind loads in the domestic and foreign concentrates between tall buildings and few researches refer interference effect between tall buildings and long-span roofs. Through experimental analysis, this research thesis is related to wind loads change of long span roofs because of neighboring double-tower structure infection, it has the important project practical significance and the theory value.Wind tunnel investigations of large span flat roofs are carried out. Global body shape factor distribution property, block shape factor distribution property, mean wind pressure factor distribution property and extreme wind pressure factor distribution properly on the roof of the structure are measured. Under the different wind angle, the situation of wind pressure on the noninterference long span roof is obtained. Then, double-tower structure composed by a couple of tall building models is put in the upstream of the long span roofs. By changing relative location of 2 tall buildings and the long span roofs, the section type of 2 tall buildings and wind angels, variation rules of wind pressure on the disturbed long span roof is found. Compared it with the situation of wind pressure on the noninterference long span roof, a series of variation rules of wind pressure distribution, which are influenced by relative locations of the neighboring tall buildings, the section type of the neighboring tall buildings and wind angles, are obtained. The most unfavorable conditions are pointed out.At last, according to a certain engineering example, 2 tall buildings interference effects on a novel long span roof is studied in the article. The influence of relative locations and section type of the neighboring tall buildings for wind pressure distribution on the plat roof is analyzed and some advices are put forward to be applied for engineering design.
